That Amrut is a great deal indeed.Boulevard liquors has the Amrut Fusion for R679. A whisky deserving of the 97 points awarded by Jim Murray

And they have stock on the Three Ships 10 year old, 2005 vintage if anyone is looking
Well spotted on the Rock Oyster, didn't bother to look too closely. I'm only a fan of the Big Peat Xmas editions, they have it at R750, also quite decent price. That Amrut is a great deal indeed.
Douglas Laing is doing a lot of specials at the moment. Pity the stand reflects the new name for Rock Oyster, but the bottle does not.
Ok, I should have said Big Peat leaning towards the XMAS edition. Had a nice comparative tasting at home last year with the standard Big Peat, Cape Town Edition and the 2017 XMAS edition. Maybe it was just patriotism but I liked the Cape Town Edition the best.
I'm about to pull the trigger on The Gauldrons as I am huge Campbeltown fan and there's some other specials also floating around.Well spotted on the Rock Oyster, didn't bother to look too closely. I'm only a fan of the Big Peat Xmas editions, they have it at R750, also quite decent price.
I'm guessing that Boulevard liquors isn't in JHB?Boulevard liquors has the Amrut Fusion for R679. A whisky deserving of the 97 points awarded by Jim Murray

A fan here as well but I've not enjoyed The Gauldrons. Have you tried any of the Glen Scotia range, the Double Cask is a winner.I'm about to pull the trigger on The Gauldrons as I am huge Campbeltown fan and there's some other specials also floating around.
