alright whisky gurus, help me restock the bare necessities ... inspired by a dwindling shelf, things likeand just the general idea of having a selection of tried and tested whiskies at home I've decided I need this, and some of this needs advice
something on the sweeter side:
Blanton's Gold
Hibiki
Great King Street Artist's Blend
something peaty/smoky:
Ardbeg Uigeadail
Smokehead High Voltage
Compass Box the Peat Monster
Laphroaig Quarter Cask
something smooth:
Yellow Spot
Red Spot
Redbreast 12
The Balvenie 14yo
something scotch:
Don't know what that means, sorry.
something daring:
Anything from Campbeltown...Kilkerran (unobtanium), Hazelburn, Longrow and Glen Scotia.
Has anyone tried it? I am tempted but R1150 is a little bit over my budget...

What else is he going to say?
The only Whisky and coke I enjoy is with Lagavulin 16 or Ardbeg 10 or Ardbeg Wee Beastie. The peat works great with the coke...but plain Whisky does not .
