Something is worth what someone is willing to pay, unfortunately. Would be silly to expect prices to remain low.

My 2c on the aerstone range
Landcask is mediocre, a decent drink neither here nor there. It's does not have much to do with the sea I don't get the salt notes.

On a different note I found the landcask to be pretty good. It wasn't ardbeg or Laphroaig but a decent soft peat maybe a bit unrefined but I didn't expect better for R350.

today's weekend dram: perhaps sacrilege but I really was struggling with 1L of Bain's 10yr Shiraz finish ... I had about a third of a bottle of regular Bain's and about half a bottle of Three Ships 5yr in the house so ...

I created two unique blends by topping them both up back to full bottles using Bain's 10yr Shiraz finish

tonight I'm having the Bain's 10yr plus Bain's regular blend and it is actually good

Whatever you like dude. If it's cheap stuff, great. If it's more expensive, also fine. Nobody's going to talk down to you.
Lol how I wish this were true. I’ve been talked down before on this very thread. But it’s not a big deal, I still love the whiskies :p :)
