Is it a day late or should it be here today (Pretoria)

If you ordered on Sunday, they'll process it on Monday and you'll get it today, most likely.

which one :) there are quite a few including single cask releases from Whiskey Brothers

They are all great the limited releases are really something special and I try snag at least one or two a year

Cracked this one open yesterday - one of the limited edition ones really yummy.

Bains also has really great whisky and the travellers editions are also great - best thing is both are cheap - dont let that put you off

Something I read over the weekend is still bothering me.
Someone wrote: "The James Sedgwick Distillery, the only commercial whisky distillery in Africa."
Does the Boplaas Distillery and the others then not count?

"commercial" = concerned with or engaged in commerce or making or intended to make a profit

Biggest yes. Most awarded yes. But "only commercial"

For someone early in their whisky journey the Glengoyne seems a bit left field, I'm sure there's a story there?

Which Springbank 12 CS are you getting, the latest release?

I have and really enjoy the Glengoyne 30 so I wanted something from the line that would (hopefully) be similar but easier on the wallet.

I wanted to celebrate my 30th with a whisky of the same age. I was contemplating the Glenfarclas and Glenfiddich but I don't much like their younger bottlings. I was hoping for a Glendronach 1991, as that style is my preference, but I think that's only coming much later in the year so I went with Glengoyne as I've only read really good things about it.

I don't know which CS it is, I'm guessing the 2020.

The description says 2017 but I think that's just old. R1119 isn't bad for a CS.

I'm a Glenfiddich fan but the 30 ain't that great so good choice there. I would be interested to know which Springbank you get from Copper Monkey.
