The packaging is very different but that seems to be all. I actually got a reply from someone working in the distillery that nothing has changed. It's a very distinctive character profile that I think a lot of people will love but it's something I'll need to come back to a few times to reassess.

Lochranza is quite sherried, nicely sweet but not quite being a sherry bomb like Glendronach. With water that Arran signature comes through quite strongly so I'll stick to neat.

I'm keen on getting the (older lable) Amarone and Port cask finishes but those are getting quite a bit rarer. Copper Monkey had those but went out of stock over my purchase weekend. Next time...

I've seen the port cask around, possibly the Port cask at a store around the corner. Amarone I've maybe seen in one place, can't recall now. It's possible [mention]axsis [/mention]may have seen a bottle around.
