West cork, boubon cask forward. It's not something I would rush out and buy sadly (and I bought a bottle of Proper Twelve). Hope you like it more than me :).

I liked it a lot, actually.

I paired it with a spicy curry last night, and it was great.

I'll sell you a box for say R10 000 :whistling:
This is a new level of flipping

I'm going to have to pass on your generous offer, I'll wait to get it from one of the other retailers that's expected to get stock/have stock or wait to see what happens with the WB ballot. At the very least our little group might do a bottle spilt and then I'll kindly as for the empty.

Just kidding.
If I do win in the WB ballot though then it is up for garbs since I got already.

Went to a few Checkers this weekend, foolishly passed on a third Glen Elgin 12 but well I was in an adventurous (also foolish) mood.

I picked up the Akashi single malts for a very reduced price (R300 and R600, usually R750 and R1500). They're both pretty good and worth it at the price I paid.

I also decided to grab a Chivas 18 for R650. Not a fan of this although I like the 12 and XV. It's just too bitter and has a slight vodka taste to it. Oh well.
