Thanks. The catalogue is not online as yet so I might drive through to a store tomorrow.

So why only one bottle of single malt on a Single malt promotion pamphlet?

Good question. Probably to appeal to the general target audience? Most people won't know what a single malt whisk(e)y is I guess.

I've asked flatmate to pick me up a bottle of Glen Grant since I will be on the farm this weekend and far from a Checkers

Some good prices over a wide range.

R90 off of Monkey Shoulder. That's it back to the price it was before Christmas :whistling:

I got a little carried away. Laphroaig 10yo, Talisker 10yo and for a wild card Glen Scotia Double Cask.

Will be squirrelling them away for a special occasion :whistling:

Wait! Those prices are before the 20% discount?
Some of the are great just like they are on the pamphlet.

The prices on there as I understand it already include the discount. When I bought the single malts they still had the full price listed on the shelf, but the 20% went off automatically at the till.

Ok would make sense but I was asking because of this post:

Paid R336 for Glenlivet 12y old at Checkers now

R336 is 20% of R419 as advertised.

Cardhu 12 year old advertised on pamphlet for R429. Paid R343 (-20%) at checkout.
