If the Laga is your thing, I'd recommend the Ardbeg out of those 2.

Saw a bottle of Lagavulin 16 at Checkers this morning for R 1 100.....that is a really good price.

I picked up some rum instead though.

I have such a bad cold but couldnt help pouring a tot of the Ardbeg, to all who suggested this in line with my Lagavulin on a budget, I thank you. Its exactly what I was looking for and a GREAT FIRST single malt bottle buy into this wonderful world of yours.

Its strange how whisky is a totally different type of alcohol experience. there is a sense of adventure and emotion that each sip conjures up, or maybe thats just me

Seems like im a lover of the PEAT!

Cant wait to be healthy again and enjoy this properly!
