I know how you feel.

I have been making quite a few impulse buys recently and it's breaking the bank. Fortunately it is my only hobby currently.

I just got off the Wild About Whisky website....where I have yet again "invested" in more Whisky.

This is becoming a problem now, honestly. :oops:

The Springbank 10 is one of the Whiskys I bought from Wild About Whisky today.

And I love that Ardbeg 10 Warehouse Package, very cool and obviously an awesome dram.

Either your friends have great taste or they know what you like indeed.

I have only ever had the Springbank 10 once before as a dram and I've always been meaning to get a bottle. Ardbeg 10 has been a staple for many years and was my absolute favourite whisky until An Oa was released.

Anyway, not friends, but rather a major liquor retailer from whom I have been buying whisky for many, many years and who managed to upset me recently. This was their attempt at reparations. Obviously, apology accepted!

Wow, you must have a great relationship with them for them to go through the effort and the expense.

That Springbank 10 is the new version, I enjoy it much better than the version I tried about 6-7 years ago.

Did you call and double check that they actually have that version? I've had other online Whisky retailers copy and past off of websites and get this kind of thing completely mixed up.

Especially at that price...

Just spoke to them...Carl says he has been instructed to remove that from their website as it has been sold out already country wide.

And this while I was sitting with one in my basket.

When did you buy yours?

I bought as soon as I saw the post from @alternate, which was just after he made it. Payment has gone through. Let's see. If they deliver me normal Drum then I shall return it and demand a refund.

ETA - I didn't want more Drum as I already have 2 bottles but I do want a committee release...

I decided to have a look yesterday for it and it was on the site. I only posted the link once my order got fulfilled as I didn't really believe it.
I have a tracking number so lets see what arrives.
 
So I received a 'sorry but that item is out of stock' e-mail from NGF. I've asked them for a refund.
