Bit of an over-exaggeration on the $400. It is only that price because it was a limited release (2015). Still shows that the core range is as solid as special releases. I enjoyed Uigedail last time I got to try it and I quite like An Oa (probably my favourite of the lot).

Better keep an extra bottle of Buffalo Trace handy.

Pretty sure this applies more to their rarer ranges which are in quite high demand. Buffalo Trace as exported is probably ok.

This stream from lockdown with whiskybrother is well worth a listen to get an idea of what goes on at Buffalo Trace.

Started my whisky collection relocation to the new house

Yeah I did. Fortunately at a "reasonable" price.

The cheapest I paid for my Glenfiddich Show Phoenix was R650, Boulevard cellars now has it for R12000. I've watched the price increases over the years....."reasonable" is very relative

I want to give a friend a bottle of Wiskey for his birthday on Friday.

I know he likes Caol Isla 12YO. Shall I get him one of those, or is there another similarly priced peated wiskey you guys can recommend?
