Two bottle kills of significance in the last week.

Enlightenment - I have really loved this whisky. Only had one bottle so its gone for good.IMG_6578.jpg

Have also really liked this - shared a good few samples from this bottle, so grateful I have another two stashed.

Due to personal reasons I will have to sell some bottles from my collection, please DM if you are interested:
- Glen Scotia 15 Years Old
- Three Ships 9 Years Old Single Cask WB
- Loch Lomond Single Grain (3 bottles)
- Three Ships 8 Years Old Oloroso (2 bottles)

I am in Cape Town and won't be able to ship to other cities.

First tell everybody where you are based.

Folks could use www.internetexpress.co.za if you have somebody who really wants and shipping needed - they are excellent and used them many times.

Yes - for something else to try that I would also rate at excellent. At R800 it is a relative bargain.
The R800 special at Checkers Mall of Africa is the Scottish Barley one. Opened it to have a look and the glasses are gorgeous.
Spent my whisky budget on Ardbeg 10 though since I had never tried it; if they have any of them Port Charlotte next time I go I'll pick it up.

Pretty but weirdly I disagree with a lot of the placements...

Glendronach 12 would be right by Macallan 12.
Springbank 10 would be very near Highland Park 12.
Caol Ila 12 would probably be slightly peatier than Lagavulin 16 (Same malt spec used) but neither is as peated as Ardbeg 10.
Uigedail would be closer to Lagavulin in flavour profile than Corryvreckan.
Not sure why Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban would not be at least as rich as Arran Amarone.

Probably could try find a lot more, these just stick out to me.

Tasting is subjective though. 10 different people will each draw it up differently. But still handy for a general quick guide for many.
