How embarrassing for the brand. I would not drink any of that kak, even if they were giving it away for free...They have to give the stuff away to get rid of it https://www.ngf.co.za/collections/whisky_new/products/buy-2-x-johnnie-black-free-jw-white-walker

Can't help you with the Dutch, I'm almost a complete Irishman, and I don't get this stuff they call whisky.I'm extremely proud of my Dutch ancestry...but somewhere something Irish happened. I'm sure of it !!

GOT fans obviously have no taste in TV, but they at least have tast in Whisky it seems.
Like I said, mostly Irish, it doesn't take much.Allow me to confuse you then:
Terrible Whisky is terrible Whisky...facts. There is world wide consensus about this travesty that JW bottled to cash in on the GoT nonsense...and it has backfired terribly.I don't understand the hate, there's a recipe for all whiskies. Some people even put Coke in their Islay's.

PS. Having a once of Smokey Cokey has absolutely nothing to do with drinking terrible Whisky...so not sure what was attempted with that comment.
No worries mate...I fully get where you are coming from and to each his own in this very subjective arena.Really not trying to argue, your contribution here is massive and I really enjoy it. Maybe just best to ignore me and move on, but I had to get that off my chest![]()
Wee Beastie to compare. Really enjoying this one as wellFinally got around to trying these 2 this evening, both brilliant and typical Ardbeg - no water needed.
Out of the 2 would have to give it to the Uigeadail, what a dram and well worth the price. Glad it seems to be back in stock now

Sounds great. What about the 10 year ?They are both excellent - worth having a bottle of each on the shelf. They also mix together rather well.
