MTN today announced that they will launch the White iPhone 4 in two weeks time

Is there any way to buy an iPhone in SA without a contract - one that is unlocked, and if so, what is the price for a 32 Gig? I am thinking of getting an unlocked iPhone 4 from the UK where they are unlocked. I am not keen to go down the jailbreak route. To bring one back from the UK is going to cost R6,500. The 32 Gig Iphone 4 in the States is R2,000 cheaper, but can only be used on Verizon or AT&T. I would like to get a new one.

All iPhones in SA are unlocked and if you lucky you can get one on prepaid at Incredible Connection for about R6500 - R7000

White may be doable on the iPhone, but I think that it doesn't really work on the iPad. The black frame on the larger screen just looks better.

This thing was supposed to come out a month after the black one and was continuously delayed due to 'manufacturing issues'.
