Who hasn't jailbroken their iPad 1 or 2

I jailbroke my iPad 2 a week after getting the thing.

the main reason is I don't have a credit card and so couldn't buy any apps ZA or USA.
So Cydia became apart of my iPad's life and apptracker.

After looking at what apps I use , I figure maybe it's time to go legit.

But I only have a UK paypal account, what are my options?
I have a US iTunes account.
Once you purchase an app do you own it for life?
 
I haven't. I figured I would have to at some point, from what I'd read on these forums and others, people said it's impossible to do anything fun or useful without jailbreaking it. So, I figured I would wait till I needed something which required jailbreaking and do it then but so far I've been able to do everything I've wanted without jailbreaking it...

Me too, I'm not really into cosmetic changes etc like theme's.

apart from installing pirated apps, I dont see any reason to jailbreak.

Can I buy apps with a UK paypal account from US store or should i Register for a UK account?

i havent, i have a us account and just buy off evopoints with my cheque card, they also accept eft

... but I do feel there is a need for it. Some of the issues I've encountered are the 3G limit, the wifi hotspot and the wifi signal. A file structure so one can download as make the iPad more stand alone is already pretty good.

i only have the wifi version so my solution is the only one for me really but would work perfect for you as well, one of those wifi hot spot modems.

But the thought of a single device that can do everything, would be great

Also when I connected my iPad 2 it copied all of the apps that I had bought for the iPad 1 onto it without any hassles. So now I have two iPads running the exact same collection of apps and I only paid for it once!
 
So there seem to be many people who haven't jail broken their devices, have you guys all updated to iOs5.1?
 
Use an US iTunes account, and just buy vouchers online. 2 0r 3 clicks and you're done.
And you own apps for life
 
My brother has one, and he hasnt jail broken it. In fact it hasn't even been upgraded to the lates os. iPad is supposed to be very user friendly, but try updating the thing to the latest os and you will go insane. Had to first upgrade iTunes. Then when trying to update the os on the iPad, the downloads keep on timing out (tried about 5 or 6 times). I eventually download the update file (approx 700 Mb??), so that I can manually update later - that didnt work issue with the file. Download again, iTunes complains about something else. Eventually gave up.

Maybe jailbreaking will be easier.
