Who here eats Fish Paste?

If you know how it is made, you probably wont it eat it.
We do, we love it, but not everyday or week.
Pecks anchovy paste ( which these days is not what it used to be) varies in quality as the seasons change.
Then we switch to "wedwo" :D

The fish paste in question here is fermented, why did you then bring sushi into the discussion? I questioned you on topic.

It was about fish? so, question answered,

You have not provided evidence about the fish paste in question being fermented. Please go ahead and do so.

It’s the definition of fish paste according to the Bible of cooking (Larousse Gastronomique). If it’s not fermented, it’s not fish paste but industrials cheating you.

I used to, but as it's been declared unfit for human consumption it can't be imported into the EU anymore so I can't buy it now.

Used to like it on hot toast, with plenty of butter.
