Have to say that on paper the Sharks should at least make the semi's if not make it to the final. However as a Stormers fan, we have had many great teams on paper but never got anywhere. Sharks fans be warned!
One good thing about the Stormers this year is the low profile. I think Rassie is the best thing to happen to us for some time and I am sure he has some things up his sleeve. I believe the Stormers are having a closed practice session this Saturday at Newlands against UCT.
I believe the Stormers can make the top half of the table with an outside chance of a semi, mainly due to us having a reasonable draw and due to Rassies influence and despite the poor administration of WP rugby (any chance you Banana Boys can send some of your administrators here to educate ours on how to run a professional sport).
We are in a real financial crisis, they have sold off all the assets with the exception of Newlands, which the "clubs" own. They will be trying to sell it if we do not do well this year. I believe the clubs got a letter from the union stating there is no money and that the clubs will be getting ZERO, NILL, NADA by way of a grant fron the union. It's a case of your on your own and get your own sponsors! What a mess. Need to get rid of these guys. Talk about a gravy train that is draining our game. The clubs are in real trouble. What realy rankles is that we are the region with the most natural talent and we should not need to buy any players. look at any SA team and you will see a number of Kapies.

crusaders, with all blacks back in the starting lineups SA teams are not going to dominate like we did last year...

Well after a couple of games down the drain , I would like to up this thread and say that the Sharks are doing pretty well, so far I would say the top four at the end of the series would be Crusaders, Blues, Sharks and Western Force.....
