Why Africa has gone to hell

No lol...if you read the article you can determine the links the author is trying to make...or at least my insane brain can. What I'm refering to is that each and every other country wants to dog on Africa...but have you sat down and studied the UK's involvement in the past, or the history of the world? Slave trade, colonisation, taking over countries, their sick laws against woman, their yellow teeth, their warm kuk beer, their uncontrolable need for Porn, their devision between rich and poor is worse than we have here in SA!

I know people like to compare a 1st world country against a failing continent...but you can't, Africa is doomed from the start. Go back to human geanealogy, forgive the spelling, Africa was and is the richest continent ever! 1st human bones were found here in Africa, Africa has blacks...thus the world will NEVER help Africa come out of its corrupt rut, as history shows that blacks are 2cnd class...interestingly enough...if you are interested...lol, go read up on slave trades, shocingly, blacks in Africa traded white slaves in early ages as well...anyway the moral of the story is...just like China, the UK should never feel they can judge Africa...look at what goes on in their own back yard!

Lol. The UK ain't perfect but its several levels better than here. At least there i can travel from point a to point b without having to fear for my life in the back of an illegally converted panel van. Also they are free to criticize their leaders with out some left(or is it right) wing youth league threatening a fast food company with "military action". Now that i think about it what have we got to complain about it... those brits have it way harder, for one their currency is worth more than toilet paper in the rest of the world.:erm:

Ya shame we need to send the money Eskom wants for the power station from the world bank. They might need it to fix the municipalities they have been burning down in protest.. We here in SA where we have everything so cheap and violence is something we read in history books about should stop complaining. Our Children are is such good schoold and they are such models for the world.

Shame the poor UK they really have it tough..

while i think Africa can improve and that there is a lot wrong with the continent, i don't get people's need to compare first world countries with third world. i'm also amused that the conclusion that people hint at or try to come to, in the end it's black people. no other factors, not wars, not lack of education, not corporations exploiting the continent, corruption, unfair elections or people's lack of empathy towards others of another race, just black people.

Let's coem to a moral precedent here...People are to blame for EVERYTHING in this world, as things just don't happen by itself...people start that process, a catalyst if you will...NOW, we need to come to the other conclusion...why BLACK people? people are responsible, what i mean is that people are vastly different. it wasn't black people who declared war and divided up the african continent, or a black CEO of a company that is encouraging groups fight it out to get cheaper prices on resources. there are many people outside of the african continent who are also largely to blame, but people seldom bring them up in discussions. we've given the african continent a western lifestyle, told it how to live and now judge it for not being the same as the west, that is all i meant.

I can't get over the fact that you seem to like this fact that our kids in POOR/RURAL areas CAN'T read...by using the words "at least" it portrays a basic disregard for our country's growth and the basic approval for another above ours!!! Yes our kids cannot read, we can blame this on at least a couple of issues...

Rural - which is synonamous with poverty, which is synonamous with NO HOPE, which is synonamous with alcohol and inevitably you get someone who cannot read, they made tons of movies that documents this...go watch it.

yep, the US kids are obese, but the UK has overtaken that race...13 y.o are more obese in the UK than anywhere else in the world...this rides on the same point as kids who can't read this side...a lack of parent influence, I guess money is no saving grace in this factor...if you are educated or not...

I hate to say this...but you suffer from pure "See black only" syndrome...you support your argument by making refference to blacks once again. You don't make a clear distinction that your argument is all encompassing it ties back to race yet again...You don't mention the mad kid who slashed his school mates with a sword? You don't mention the Reitz laaities who think they were being funny...if that is fun, one has to ask the question on their upbringing...is that how they were taught to treat other people, let alone black people? You seem to think only black kids cannot read and write.... I think you have the cat by the tail. All children that goes to SA Schools get the same education. Unless your parents have money and send you to a private school.

No person fresh out of high school looking for work has the proper writing spelling and reading skills, that is my experience when employing them the last few years. And this is not a race thing. This is all over5 the spectrum.

I have nieces and nephews in primary school in SA, fat kids are the norm, but then again in Africa being fat means you do not have HIV so I guess it’s something different here.

Fat does not equal uneducated or stupid people. Zim should then be the fattest off them all if we go by that.
