why buy an audi?

Everyone can only voice their opinion from their own experience, which imo is valuable.
I would however suggest, that if you raving/ranting , please state the dealer(s) that you had your experience(s) with.

@ Catch aka bandwagon jumper - What car do you drive? You again show the world that you dont posses any common sense. Do you even own a car?

You okes are mistaken. Toyota never ever had a motorplan. They have SERVICE plans. Same with your older model VW and Honda.

Big difference between motorplans and service plans. With BMW, if anything breaks - they will repair it if its under motorplan. Only thing they do not cover is fuel and tyres.

Service plans cover certain aspects of the car. They do not cover half the things Audi, Merc and BMW's motorplans cover.

Yip! Correct.

On BMs mototrplan, they fix little bitty dents, interior scrathes, and engine!!
My mom BM was hit by a firecracker couple years ago, it dented the bonnet, broke the windscreen and exploded on the passenger seat...
BM payed for everything, im still convinced they gave her a brand new passenger seat, they couldnt have fixed it that well!!:p

well well well, bandwagon jumper in here too , haha.

lets do a history lesson ...
1995 BMW E30 325i ... Budler supercharged
1996 VW Golf VR6 ... 3.1L conversion, catcams, flowed heads,stage3 clutchmasters, and the best part of all Alpine Turbocharged.
1999 BMW E36 M3 ...
2001 Audi A3 1.8T
2002 Volvo S40 T5
2004 C200K
2005 Toyota Verso 1.6
2006 C55 AMG
2007 MKV GTi Edition30

besides the 2 old legends, every one of them gave a motor/service/freeway plan and only Toyota does not cover brake repairs part of their plan. They cover everything else cos they didnt charge me for shocks and clutch when it needed replacing.

but i guess Snap#### knows better, cos he aint a bandwagoneer ...

Its nice to sit behind a keyboard hey. So you can lie to the whole world.

If you had the BMW or Merc you would know the difference between their motorplans. So i take it you just made that up:D

Eish, the lengths people will go to make friends on the internet:rolleyes:

Hahaha Toyota Verso, why?

simple really, the motorway plan is awesome! just took my car in for service today, 30000k one, apart from all the "usual" 30000k stuff they do, they also replaced my brake pads and windscreen wipers. price i had to pay? zilch! nada! exactly zero Rand :D
aaahh, bliss. oooh i also had a valet done on the whole car so it feels, smells and looks brand new  (ok so maybe the valet wasnt free, but still )

They felt guilty for ripping you off... cause you bought and Audi from em' :D

No but seriously man. You claim to have owned all these cars yet you dont know the difference between a motorplan and service plan. You claim they all the same.

Get real man! How do you expect us to take you serious?

'wtf is funny JK ? do you think because you drive a PGTi, you are better than others , huh ? AZZhole ! "

see the difference ?

Verso is a good and reliable car, light on juice, and when problems arise, easy to maintain. I must admit, interior quality is gargabe. Thats a toyota ....

EDIT: Of course you have 4 cars, you are from LDM right ? must be one of those rich kids on the block ...

My Pgti has nothing to do with your list of cars and the Toyota sticking out... See that???

Verso is crap compared to the other cars.
Nah not from there.

Verso is crap when it comes to luxury, but the others are crap when it comes to being 'practical'. See that ???

you got to be kidding me ?

Freeway plan, motorplan, service plan, all the same damn things, but every manufacturer might have their exclusions, like toyota with brake repairs not part of the 'motorplan or whatever plan they call it'. Warranty and ???plans are two different things.

btw,how many different cars did you own to come up to that conclusion ?

Geez dude, WTF is with your attitude?

I have owned a few cars, but close friends and family also have cars with maintenance plans, motorplans, service plans, etc. They explained the details of their car manufacturers "plans". I have also looked into many of the maintenance plans offered when shopping for a new car.

I'm starting to feel sorry for you, cause you really don't have a clue! Please read through your Toyota "Book of Life".

As standard, included in purchase price, Toyota offer a Service Plan (5 year, 90 000km). It covers the standard specified services only. It does not cover wear and tear items such as clutch, brakes, battery, wheel alignment, etc. Toyota do offer an optional Maintenance Plan which covers more things (brakes and more, even tires if chosen), but that is bought as an extra for the vehicle. The “plan” that is included with all the Toyotas as standard is the Service Plan. They specifically call it this as it only covers service not wear and tear maintenance items.

As standard, Toyota also include a Factory Warranty (3 year, 100 00km) in the purchase price of the vehicle. It covers the car against defects in materials and workmanship from the factory. So your clutch that was replaced, probably fell into this category, as the Verso is known for having clutch problems very early, and Toyota know about this. The shocks were probably also defective and covered under warranty. Both the clutch and shocks failed prematurely and Toyota accepted responsibility and replaced the items under warranty.

So you went from a Verso to a C55... that whole practical BS really had an effect on you hey...

Clutch and shocks under warranty (at 90 000 service) ? that is even more stupid than JK8 implying i sold my Verso for a C55 for practical use.
