Why do we have Affirmative Action?

Correct. Shouldn't we be addressing the poverty problems by ensuring the utmost profitability of this country by keeping the best man for the job in the position. When the struggling millions have been helped maybe then we can look at the middle to upper class work segment and readdress imbalances?

Furthering the country or fighting poverty has got nothing to do with it. It is all about getting even. Getting as much of the whiteman and enriching the few fatcats.

Look at this living brain donor:

Again, if they really wanted everything to be black, they would have done so without asking you nicely.

Do any body knows how many shares in major businesses were given away to minsters and their cronies?

It is all in the ages old attitude of the blackman. Beg, beg, beg, beg.... . Only now because they are the majority they make laws to make it easier just to take, take, take..... .

They are the majority but none of our brain donors say anything that all this is being sponsored by the minority. Eish, die witmense is slim.

Whether your candidate wins or not, voting allows you to say that I did or did not choose this path. By not voting you are accepting the status quo and by abstaining you are essentially saying that you accept what the current leadership is doing.

Abstaining is the ultimate form of rejection.

All AA is doing is replacing the white middle class with a black middle class. All this while leaving the millions of destitute behind. AA is benifitting a small minority and as such should be scrapped in favour of uplifting those that would not even benefit from the legislation.

I think the gross miseducation here is that the poor perceive the fact that if a black man is given a job he will assist the black poor. This couldn't be further from the true. AA only drives individualistic amibitions without providing benefit to those that need it most!

Eish. That black BMW 4x4:o

Lets hope that is not the case but is rather a misguided implementation by a bunch of bureaucrats who have no idea what the man on the street looks like, let alone have ever met them.

There day will come when the masses actually realised they have not benefitted at all from this mess that is supposed to be the reformed South Africa. Then its time to bring out the proverbial fan.

If that was the last time you voted, i guess you input in this discussion is pointless - and this i am sure everybody will agree on.

I don't agree. If there is noone who represents you, then you shouldn't feel obligated to vote for the lesser of the evils.. If you dont want to vote out of protest, then that is your right. And you can complain as much as you want about the government elected..

Whatever man.

But thanks for sponsoring the majority, JZ loves you too!

Not voting is as good as giving the vote for the winning candidate. Might as well pay your ANC membership dues.

Yeah you can complain, but to who? You voted for nobody to action your causes.

It's never too late to mend such divisions...

Too true. I believe many whites refuse to attempt to mend these divisions until policies perceived by whites to be racist ie. AA are scrapped.

Not true.

The reason Afrikaners stayed away was out of protest.

There was no way it would have made a difference then.

Now it is a different kettle of fish.

The ANC is destroying itself from within.

This time voting will make a difference.

AA or more correctly EE, is a socio-economic prerequisite for a normal non-racial society. Scrapping such a policy would mean maintaining the status quo... i.e. wealth of a country in the hands of a few...

Right, so instead of the wealth being the hands of a few white people it is now in the hands of a few black people. Well done! You fixed the problem! Oh wait there are still millions living on the street.

Until you realise this country has bigger problems than some sort of racial realignment the sooner those really suffering can be helped.

The wealth is in the hands of a few even when AA is implemented. It never was about the majority of black people, It was always about making a few people too rich for their own good. It is not being carried out correctly and businesses suffer from having to carry dead weight around with them, that also demands a big salary..

Exactly. As long as it is being exploited it will never work. Currently it doesn't function correctly and, as such, is hardly creating a normal non-racial society.

And socialism also does not work.
