Why ever did i chose winblows 10

Goodness, a lot of fighting about Windows hey.
Let me guess, most of you are locked in because your applications won't run on other OS?
I have a professional opinion, and it won't ever change. Windows is crap, always has been, always will be.
There are alternatives, unfortunately when you're not willing to learn then Windows is all that will work in the end.

Just as well there are different options for different people then.

I like Windows a lot. It has its shortcomings, but so do all operating systems. The issues with Windows are trivial to me. I've tried some Linux variations but didn't get into them. App support obviously a serious issue, and using commands to fix issues is really annoying, but I didn't like it enough for a casual laptop either. My worst though is MacOS. Jesus I am so far from the target market for that thing. From the most basic level (stupid dock, stupid menu bar, hate Finder) to what my favourite apps look like on it (Office in particular). Never again.

Windows 10 gets a lot right. A neat taskbar packed with functionality, great productivity apps, gaming and so many third party solutions to just about any conceivable issue. Start10, for example, changes the start menu to a Windows 7 style one that I much prefer.

I'm not claiming Windows 10 is the best - just that it's folly to claim that your OS of choice is objectively superior.

Windows is great. Just wish their were other options that were even greater.
