Why I like AdBlockPlus - disabling annoying 'features'

When I click on a link to an external site from Facebook (like Gizmodo), it opens in a new tab (as it should) but returning to Facebook it's opened a Share with friend message input under the link. I use spacebar to browse down a page and so this new input captures the keyboard and I'm left just adding spaces to this message I'm supposed to send. It's quite annoying, I've tried a multitude of different search terms but come up empty.

Anyone on here experienced the same annoyance and know how to disable it? Let me know.

I've managed to kill it using ABP, click on a link and go back to Facebook, then click on the ABP icon and click Block element and select the annoying share element. I can see it tries to come up but is blocked and doesn't capture the keyboard.

If you're using Firefox, NoScript solves this issue really quickly.
