Why is Vodacom Blackberry Internet so slow?

That is not an acceptable response. I have paid for a service over the ladt couple of months that did not work.
Maybe you were happy to do that but I certainly am not.

Vodacom owes its users a refund.
 
so the honeymoon is over, and it barely lasted a day. No data at all today. Web keeps timing out and my mail isnt even coming through...

Well, I only started using BIS again (on prepaid) about a month ago. I'm actually an iPhone person and was only using my BB for BB Messenger. So, I'm not gonna go through loads of effort to get back a whole R59.

You could probably fight them to get your R59/R118 back - good luck...

I travel quite a lot and noticed in JHB and Pretoria earlier this week (Monday and Tuesday) nothing worked apart from mail coming through. No browsing, GPS, attachments etc. Back in Cape Town, seems better, but slight intermittant slow patches.

Anyone know when the BB Tour is due out in SA?
 
I am browsing fine now (average around 90 down and 120 up) but earlier today I was getting 0 down and 120 up.
I'm a bit worried that we are still not getting close to the speeds the MTN guys are getting and its just gonna get worse again as people continue to sign up.

I guess it's pretty obvious that VC don't give a crap about their customers.
If it's only R118 then ALL THE MORE reason to refund me. They couldn't be bothered to respond, even with a "No we will not refund you" instead they just ignore the question hoping it'll all go away.

Well that is what's going to happen, because i'm canceling my vodacom service.

If you really want a refund then why not try Hellopeter? Sure you'll get a better response there than here...

Guys....take it easy on Morne. I am sure he will do his best with this request. I am sure if you look at his responses in the other threads you will see that he has been very helpful...and considering that he has a full time job with Vodacom I think it is amazing that he replies as quickly as he does.

Well, anyway, thanks Morne and lets see what the "groot koekedore" has to say regarding the refund request on here.
