a 2000 rand case, for what? and its got a "tempered glass" panel, had those things pop in my hands for no reason at all. perspex pls.

that ram speed seems under spec. also what are the specs and brand of the ram? cas latency? some bottom of the range budget dimm?

the ssd, their advert says 2000megabytes/s, this article says 550. what brand and specs, it seems pretty budget..

does this system really need liquid cooling. and its 6 case fans...

with a 2 year warranty it makes me think some parts are a bit bottom of the range. better parts have 3, 5, 7 or 10 year warranty...

individual component retail pricing vs distributor bundled component pricing... hmmmm gee wiz

interesting that this seller can use distrubutor pricing when pricing a prebuilt machine, but quote retail price with markup/taxes when pricing nvidias new card range.

I don't see a note about it being a paid advertorial?

I wouldn't touch Evetech with a 10ft pole.
Too many stories of things like prebuilt PCs arriving and not working.
Upgrade bundles having the CPU and RAM floating around in the motherboard box when they arrive.
The posts appear on Zaga on FB often and last a little while before being axed.

That's before even getting into the way they handle the CPA when it comes to warranties and refunds and grey market imports.
Their terms and conditions contravenes the CPA but hey "it's in the terms and conditions so you must accept it" [this is not true but many people think you can contract your way out of legislation/law]

The answer to "Why you should consider a prebuilt gaming PC?" is simple.

Then you can play ALL the games.

Same answer for a DIY gaming PC however.

Consoles suck.

And so MyBB has delivered what they promised. Traffic and word of mouth from MyBBers. They didn't say whether it would be good or bad. I see more and more MyBB selling out on the morals and promises made when they started, but you know, business.

There's a place for prebuilds, like close to medium size business and up where it isn't worth building themselves or for those that don't know what they doing, all of which will most likely be ripped off. It's the way it always has been and always will be and the only way to somewhat circumnavigate this is to do your research and request the specific parts (although this is usually only for those in the know so somewhat pointless) or doing it yourself.

The article is obviously advertising as if it wasn't they would have done a comparison between 3 to 5 builders; I believe it's called being impartial or something as one of the ethos of journalism Take the article for the very little it's worth. Everyone has already commented that this is ripoff advertising and lets leave the thread there, for anyone that comes to search for evetech can see the negative connotations now, and we can stop driving up the search algorithms and giving in to the advertising masked as "journalism".
