I have confronted my wife and she mentioned that the lack of time spent together has driven us apart a little.
She started chatting to her X and the old memories came back around the good times.

She assured me nothing has happened and nothing will as she is not the type to cheat. She enjoyed the attention she was getting

We are booking a weekend away with the kids by the in laws.

Remember she's been a bad girl, and needs to be punished. Punish her regularly and hard. If you don't think you're up to it, I'm happy to offer my services.
 
Hello there. You man should not let wife do as please. Man is not one to be walked over like a red carpet. Wife must submit and say sorry and that it was just the silly text message. Then she must have no cellular for 3 months. You problem will go away if you are the man in house. You must claim back your authority and she will listen.

You are not the man. You must learn to take back your place in house. Why you struggle so much with wife? Why you let wife just do as please? You have no problem if she knows who she is in house. Get the respect you must have.
