Hi. Been trying to sort out an issue with fibre router but to date no luck . Hoping to find a solution here .
So...I have a d-link DIR-825 router attached to a switch attached to ubiquity unify AP. All wired devices run at descent speed . i have wired devices on router and on switch, 20mb fibre line. on Unify all wireless devices work fine. Luckily this is where most of the traffic runs through. On router it does not. Router picketed up from bedrooms. When connected to router there's a lag of note. Get time outs . Connects fine ( strong )... says internet fine...just cant browse . no chrome , no facebook , no nothing. a reset and it works fine but after a few disconections between SSID's its back to lagging. Router and AP have diff SSID's. This is in last month now. Previously had ADSL setup and all was fine so i assume its the way router is setup or the phone but it does it with all phones in the house.
Any help appreciated guys . Thanks.

Please answer questions below.

What device provide:
a. DHCP for you?
b. What DNS settings do you use.

You describe this:
@www@

Fibre 20 Mbs
|
(What connect your lan to fibre, model please?)
|
(How is Fibre CPE connected to LAN?)

Switch
|-----> [Router: DIR-825]
| |----> Devices (Problems? What problems, show the ping result)
| | ? Is this also a wireless access point?
|
|-----> Ubify AP
| |
| Wifi
| |---> Device no problems
|
|-----> Devices {Any problems here?}

Some days later. no response?

Apologies. Only see this now . Had the misfortune of a car accident so internet was not high on the priority list last few weeks.Still sorting out insurance etc and uber bills piling up :mad: .

I changed SSID on the Router . So far so good (go figure ).
