WiFi Only Tablets. Advice Please

Good day

Hope you guys can helps me.

I received a wifi only tablet as present in December, that works only with wifi.

I only use it when going to wifi hotspot areas, like Wimpy or Spur.

Are there any other way i can connect to the internet or using a usb wifi or 3g dongle.?

Currently laying at home and i wish to use it more often like my samsung s4, without needing wifi Hot spot areas .

You should be able to create a wifi hotspot with your samsung s4.

I tried using my phone but the tablet do not pick it up. that's the reason i ask for more options.
 
Get a mifi device or as mentioned use your phone as a WiFi device.

Then you did something wrong, like hiding the SSID in settings of the phone/not turning on wifi on the tablet. You cannot make a wifi hotspot on your phone while it is connected to WiFi.
 
You can get yourself something like the Huawei E5330 or similar but I would rather try to find out why your iPad doesn't connect to your phone.
 
Ok will try this again after work.

Was thinking about something with a data connection along the lines of the 3g dongle setup.

It frustrated me wanting to use it, and it just works with wifi.

Make sure the Portable Wi-Fi hotspot is on on your phone and that you selected the Allow all devices to connect option.
 
if tablet is a Apple, they tend to like only other Apple devices..........could be the problem
