Wii outsells PS3 almost fivefold

I'm sure in five or six years people will move on to another fad.

But they have only sold 3.5 million. I want some of whatever they are smoking. Or are we talking shipped v sold again?

This is being sorted out at the moment and the latest rumour is a September release.

Try to remember the Wii is sold out worldwide so adding new distribution partners and regions to the already overloaded factories is not high on Nintendo's agenda...
 
I guess Nintendo is currenlty Wii'ing on all the HD consoles who thrashed its name. :p
 
Glad NINTENDO is back on top, so scared they were going the way of the sega dreamcast!(which i still love)
Sony's big cheese Ken Kutigari is probably waiting for the next sales figures of its
new underdog with a gun in his desk! LOL LOL LOL.
Love to see how they finally cope with a flagging console.
You can hold me to this prediction:PS3 is the next BETAMAX or Sega Saturn!
 
I'm just wondering where all those Sony fanboys who were prior to the release of the consoles, talking all that sheeeiut.... wassap now Sony fanboys!!! Nintendo be p1ssin all ova Sony.... Chad Warden can such my..... ;)
 
You know what gets my goat? Often you will read how Wii has surprised the market with its success, that no one saw it coming, but anyone who knew the Wii as the Revolution would have had a sneaking suspicion that Nintendo were on to something, that even among gamers they had created enough of a buzz to make people excited. Not everyone, but enough people knew back then. Back then – all the flamin on forums was between Hi Def vs controls. Nintendo fanboys peed themselves with excitement. I know I did. I told people back then how amazing Metroid 3 was going to be. I peed my pants thinking about it. Now I just have to get the system.

I'm dying to get my hand on Metroid Prime 3, it looks awesome. My only disappointment is that there's no Multiplayer.
