While I acknowledge she has received major accolades locally and internationally, I cannot help but find that planning to release an incomplete investigation on her last day in office was reckless.

Time will indeed tell, but going on her past track record, she pretty much would have this covered and is no douche, unlike the other protagonists in this little SA episode.

The state capture report was always going to be a poisoned chalice. What was she Thuli in that she can outplay Zuma. You can't trust anyone that Zuma appointed or which Zuma has direct or indirect control over.

“The Speaker has an obligation in terms of the Rules of the Assembly to table all documents received for the information of members, in order to ensure that the business of the Assembly is conducted in an open and transparent manner.

“This report however cannot be handled in the same manner. The report will accordingly be returned to the Office of the Public Protector,” she said.

Reading that I get the impression that it's not a 1st part or draft.

Madonsela’s legal team told the court that her report has been finalised and signed off.


However, it expresses no opinion on the evidence, and makes no findings or recommendations.
