Will you subscribe to Telegram Premium?

Telegram recently launched its "Premium" service which, amongst other things, gives subscribers "increased limits for almost everything in the app" for R89 per month. Do you see yourself subscribing?

Not something I mainly use, If I used it more I would do it just to support them, because Telegram is actually awesome, wish it could take over whatsapp.

If it meets the needs, yes, but not now as I am not currently using Telegram. It looks fancy, and combined with an iPhone would make a nice status symbol.

No free version is still good enough and miles better than WA. RCS will hopefully take over so we only have one protocol and not the zillion apps like currently.

If it makes commercial sense, yes, but it doesn't for me. Crypto hustlers will love it, businesses who have audience on Telegram will love it. It has its use cases.

So we've essentially gone full circle we use to pay for texts(SMS/MMS) then WhatsApp/Telegram came out and we only had to worry about data, now we've gone back to paying for the privilege of messaging someone.
