Murray's serve and forehand is nothing special, his backhand is quite powerful, just return the ball to his body constantly and keep him guessing.

Please, please, please, just not Murray. The Brits need another Henman, and hopefully he's it. Looser.
Murray is a good guy.
Much as I would I would prefer the "Home Nations" to go without a winner for at least a 100years, I feel Andy deserves something. He puts everything into every tourney he plays in unlike the top 2 who only ever worry about winning the slams. Actually maybe if Murray took the same approach he'd win. Look at the sisters.

Not sure I am ready to withstand the inevitablae English media onslaught for the unforeseeale future should he win.

Have you noticed also how all the Ashes talk is about the 2005 series & completely ignores the 5-0 drubbing at the hands of the Aussies in 06/07.

I reckon he'll choke in the semi's, not like he'll beat Fed in the final if he got there.

Haas is looking good, and gave Fed a run for his money at the French open.
That'll be the match to watch.

I remember this one F1 race where Button came second to Schumacher in Britain, more attention was focused on him then the actual person who won the race, honestly the arrogant Brits deserve ****oll!

playing a few 5 set games in a row will take its toll on Murray, if the semi is a long one then I doubt he will make it in the final, he doesn't look as fit as Nadal to me.

Agreed. Federer has beaten Murray before in any case.

Haas led Federer by 2 sets to 0 in the French Open, but Federer still won that game. Psychologically that has to affect Haas in some ways.

EDIT: Hewitt has had a few 5 setters, so if he had to go through, it would've affected his match against Murray.

Haas must be pretty tough.
They read out his list of career injuries druing the match, that guy just keeps coming back.

Would make a great story if he won the title.

Damnit! I absolutely have to watch the damn semi final between Federer and Haas today :(

Why can't they start the matches later today? To accommodate those who still have to work :( I'm sure it shouldn't be a problem. They can let all the other crap play first and let the semis start at 17:00 our time :D

another all williams final:(
This may be a final which is not totally packed - even the William SF did not attract a full stadium. When is the female tennis association going to realise the shouting and aggressiveness in womans tennis means that people tune out?

As for the two Williams sisters, I simply don't care who wins...
