Wimbledon 2013

Because he sucks? Sorry, I just don't see the hype surrounding him...

:wtf:

Of the four majors he hasn't been seeded outside of the top-6 since Wimbledon 2008 when he was the 12th seed. He's been a top-5 seed for 18 of the last 19 majors (he missed the French Open this year). Please do tell how one figures that he ''sucks'' when quite clearly he has been among the better players on a consistent basis for a sustained period of time?

Another factor, he is playing in an era that features arguably the greatest mens' tennis player of all time (Federer), a player that some believe is in fact better than Federer (Nadal) and another equally dominant player that can beat the aforementioned duo on any given day (Djokovic) and Murray is only bettered by these three men.

Yeah, I know :p was just being facetious...

He needs to stop being so negative in his approach play at times... Yesterday, it nearly cost him.

Fair enough. Any other time period and I'm sure he'd have a few more shiny trophies.

Must be the Scotch in him.

Murray is a very good player, but it's obvious he is a mommy's boy. And he gets negative very quickly when things don't go his way.

I thought after the Olympic gold medal and his US open title he would change, but I guess I was wrong

The thing is- when he take charge and looks to dictate the tempo, he is rather brilliant, and can see off an opponent without much difficulty...

If Murray did something about his pathetic attitude, I would appreciate his play more. He isnt a big hitter, more of an all-around game (though having said this his serve is clocking some good speeds!)

I have to agree that without Nadal and Federer things are really open, but with that the viewing pleasure (for me) drops significantly. Unless you watching Lisicki ;)

Speaking of which, she is playing after lunch... should be interesting! I hope she wins :D Having said that, as long as Marion Bartoli doesnt win another single match I will be happy. That serve/ball bounce routine she has got going drives me up the bloody wall :wtf:
