Hi All
Does anyone know where I can get this software still available in SA
Win Small Business Server 2011 Standard
Thanks
Any PC shop with proper reseller accounts will be able to do a quote and yes it is still available.
Format ... install Linux![]()
Misleading title lol!
Can you perhaps advise one as I have tried a few with no luck
Where are you, location in Sunny SA?
www.pcint.co.za
they should be able to help you with it
I can only seem to get the call license but not the software itself does anyone perhaps know where I can get the software from
They seem to only have the calls available as I contacted them yesterday
Huh? You will receive the installation discs with the CAL licences, the bundled 5-pack, you can also request the installation discs. I also apologise, there is no immediate pc store available that I could gather in Jhb, except pro consultancies. I didn't ask why you needed the installation, in the case that you will DIY I can't see why any normal shop won't provide a quote?

Why? Just go Office 365, cheaper and far better
Is it really cheaper?
Yes, SBS 2011 was around R10k for the server license which included 5 user CALs, each additional 5 users was around R3k
To run this you are going to be spending at least R20k on a server, so for 10 users it works out to R33k, this excludes any labour costs assuming this would be done in house.
Office 365 Business Essentials is R684 per user per year and includes Exchange Online (50GB Mailbox), Lync Online, 1TB OneDrive for Business storage.
No hardware costs, SLA included, no need for HA internet links, no need for Exchange skills in house, no patching, no cost in upgrading to new versions, no need for backups
R33k buys you almost 5 years of Office 365 Business Essentials for 10 users.
It's far far cheaper than hosting a server on-premise
It is cheaper yes thanksbut we still want to go this way can someone perhaps sort me out with 3 licenses and calls please
