Win7 Ad-hoc creation failure.
After browsing almost 10 pages of Google, screening through solutions, I can't seem to get it.
Issue started about a week ago, when I try create an Ad-hoc network, it tells me "Windows could not set up "network"." I can't see other networks either.
Nothing in Event V. Downloaded driver from manufacturer website; tried updating through Windows and told me I had the latest. I reverted the system via System Restore a day after I installed a software called "Virtual router" (which I think it's the culprit).
My laptop's in my sig. Anyone know how the H to resolve this?

Dont seem to have this problem.
Done on my PC with wireless card & laptop (built-in wireless) & works out the box ;)
Could be the virtual router app you installed.

I see you reverted, which wireless card you have?

Ag...

I have an Atheros AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter.

Thing is I did a system restore, after I noticed I couldn't create a WAP, that didn't assist either.
