Hey~

On my computer i have two hard drives.. and i had XP on the one.. and window 7 on the other..

So everytime when it starts up.. a screen asking whether i want to start up as window 7 or XP pops up

But i found that window 7 is alot better than XP so i formated the XP hard drive.. but now the start up still asks me whether i want to run XP or window 7... but when i run XP it gives me an error..(obviously...)

So the question is, how do i get it so that it doesn't have the "choosing option"

So when i restart the computer, it would just go straight into window 7 and not wait for you to choose whether you want XP or 7

THanks

In Windows 7, go to the Control Panel, then open System - in the left pane, click on the Advanced System Settings.

Under Startup and Recovery, click on Settings - you should be able to select the default operating system from the drop-down box.

Run fixmbr from a Windows 7 recovery disk. Fixmbr would be the best option to do.

Thank you all

I used the window 7 start up and recovery method.. and it worked fine..

(about the other methods.. i am current out of cap.. so i wouldn't be able to download anything..)

(and the other one.. to use the window 7 CD... i don't know where my window 7 disc is.. i think i lent it to a friend.. so... couldn't use that method either.. )

Thanks all
