Hello

So I recently formatted one of the PC at home...

It's connected to the same router

The PC has internet (IE... connected properly..)

But the other computers cannot see that one..

I did change the setting in Advance network settings, but still no luck..

Help?

THanks

There are several things you need to do to get your PC recognised.

1. Make sure it has the same workgroup name
2 GO to "network and sharing centre" and select "change advanced sharing settings"
3. Turn on network discovery
4. Turn on file and printer sharing
5. Turn off password protected sharing

Just access the computers through its IP address, just enter the IP in the run box and hit enter eg. \\192.168.1.101.

If it doesn't pick the PC up that way there is something wrong with your setup, and use DHCP rather than Static IP.
