Hi all
What's the difference between Windows 10 DSP and retail versions?
Win10 pro 64 bit DSP sells for around R2500 and the retail version is R3999 on the Microsoft online store

The main difference between DSP and retail has always been the transferability of the Windows Licence. Retail allows it, DSP doesn't.

First question.. Are u buying windows 10 for urself or a business. Windows 10 is still free and all u need is registered legal windows 7 or 8 serial key..

Basically install windows 7 or 8 and download upgrade windows 10 program and u set.

If u have brand laptop or pc then serial key is in the bios and u can download a program called bioskey to get the serial

Yes, no longer free.

The free upgrade did end in July 2016.. That's why u don't get that annoying windows 10 upgrade icon appearing in ur task notification panel..

But the FREE upgrade to windows 10 still applies as long as u have a valid windows 7, 8, 8.1 serial key

Remember your serial key gets converted into an electronic 1 and Microsoft uses that to activate windows 10.. I have done this on many laptops recently.

True, I was referring to Ponder's post about converting a demo key. Exploiting a loophole.

There were two links there, did you read both? The second one clearly states you can still upgrade and it does work on a legit no loophole install.

You can still use the assistive technologies upgrade path to get on W10. I've done it a couple of times over the past couple months.

Yes, did see that, but was relating to the demo install when I made my comment. It is good to know the upgrade can still be done. Useful post, ta.
