As per title, please post any issues you had after installation and possible fixes.

Since upgrading from Win 7 I had an issue with internet access

Every time after "hibernation" or "sleep" the wireless access was disconnected.
It seems Win 10 changed some settings on the adapter.

Fix

1. Right click 'This PC' and go into 'Properties'
2. Under 'Device Manager' expand 'network adapters'
3. Right click the wireless adapter and click 'properties'
4. Under 'Power Management' UNTICK Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power
5. Click OK close everything and restart

After upgrading Windows 10 didn’t accept my password to login.

To resolve the issue I had to select the correct keyboard under language options. (Only happened once but it was scary none the less.)

My PPPoE connection failed with "Broadband connection already in use".

I had to restart the PC to get it to work again.
I have found that the easiest solution is to disconnect the PPPoE connection before the computer goes into hibernation or I power off the system.

Minor issue: Dialogs sometimes appear behind windows or programs, they are not model and lose focus.

Symptom: Didn't even know I had a dialog open form the recycle bin (because when I told it to clear it took a while before the dialog appeared) When I tried clicking on anything like the start menu or notification area, I get a chime sound that keeps on playing if I click anywhere. (Remember, you can't see the dialog, so its rather confusing at first why the computer is chiming you :) )

Solution: Simply alt tab to the dialog, or alt tab until it is brought to the foreground.

Wouldn't it be easier to click on the Task View button?

Driver issue - AMD Radeon 6800 dual screen.

After upgrade, only picked up as basic graphics adapter. Downloaded and attempted to apply Radeon drivers for windows 10, install would hang and crash.

Solution: go into device manager, open graphics adapter and click driver. Then tell it to update driver, windows will download a Microsoft compliant driver. Once install complete, then the std catalyst driver installs correctly.

Upgraded 7 Ultimate to 10 via legit channels (reserved my upgrade a while back, waited for system to do its thang, didn't force upgrade anything). It also activated without problems.

All went as planned. Once booted in and gpu (GTX560M) drivers updated, start button, notifications button and a few other taskbar "buttons" stopped working.

Created a bootable USB with the media creation tool, did a clean install and everything work (ed/s) perfectly. Also, because the software was activated before, it automatically reactivated with no issues.

There may have been another workaround, but I decided to do a clean install...upgrades just feel...a little "dirty" or something. :p

Outlook could not send email on my POP account.

Fix

Run sfc /scannow from Command prompt.

I'm keep getting an notification about "Language Typing Features" it's annoying me

After installation on Windows 10 Pro, and rebooting the next day I get: "Cannot open Windows 10, hard drive is locked"
How the hell does one lock or unlock a hard drive, never heard of such crap!
No worry, back to Win7 Pro, peace and quite and works like a dream.

Couldn't access shares on other PC's on my network.

Solution: Had to join the homegroup :p (duh)

If using a desktop and USB devices connected to the back ports stop working, plug them into the front USB ports.

What sort of devices ? Like keyboard and mouse ?

Yes. Happened to me with the preview. Replugging or rebooting didn't help. Only changing to the front ports worked.

Wouldn't have posted this but this was the question & solution a day or two ago in another thread, so it seems it's still relevant.

Maybe it's a motherboard issue ? The only time I had that issue is when windows goes into hibernation. But then it takes about 20 seconds and I hear the sounds where windows connects the usb again and finally keyboard and mouse are working again.. Bit annoying.

I don't hibernate my games PC, I do a shutdown.

Reinstalled Windows 7. No problem.
