If it's the same as Windows 8.1, it will be Windows 10 and Windows 10 Pro.

The Windows 10 Technical Preview is actually the "full" one, the Pro version.

Ah, fixed all my "Metro Apps"!

I was constantly trying to install apps via the new beta App Store, instead of using the normal App Store. :D

All my back USB ports stopped working yesterday. Restarting and replugging made no difference. So I used the front ports and another set of keyboard & mouse, which worked.

Seems like the PC restarted overnight (back at login and Origin not running full screen) and my back ports are working again. :confused:

Where is the Windows Update settings?
 
Might be that Windows was installing an update/s.

Windows Update settings : Settings (on your Start Menu) then look for last icon, called Update and Recovery.

But you can't really change the settings. :)

The new one is under PC Settings > Update and Recovery. Be sure to also hit Start > "maintenance" > Change Automatic Maintenance Settings > select the hour you'd like the PC to start downloading updates and doing its thing.

EDIT: I found it, no worries....much better now!!
 
I haven't looking into Windows 10 but what about people in the market for Windows tablets? Wait? Does it need more resources?

Windows tablets will get Windows 10. If you're buying a windows 8.1 tablet now, you'll be able to upgrade. If you plan to wait for release and buy one with Windows 10 preinstalled, you'll have two choices: Less than 8 inches - runs phone version of the OS

8 inches or more - runs the full Windows 10.

Final release should run smooth on most hardware.

Same resources as Windows 8.1, but much more responsive.

It is fabulous to use. ;)
 
I don't know it this has been asked, but if I get Windows 10 as an upgrade on my Windows 7 Pro (DSP) is it possible because I know my W7 DSP is for my PC only, will it also remain as a DSP when upgraded

Yup.

Microsoft do actually keeps track of all the serial numbers.
 
Another question, if I have windows on my PC without a product key(pirated copy) can I buy a W10 with a legal key and upgrade that copy?

Windows will not accept the old key, so it will not allow you to upgrade.
