Windows 11 Support Thread

You didn't know that? 😲 You need to get used to the setting page .... Control panel is gonna fall away sometime in the future.
The app section on the settings page have been coming along since W10 days

I obviously know about the new settings page - I just didn't realise control panel didn't have the same functionality.

That app section is one of the first places I visit after a fresh install just to uninstall all the crap bloatware apps that comes preinstalled with windows ... Onedrive being one of them :thumbsup: ;)

Dell / Windows Sucks

@Dave I don't need your opinion. :p
I would suggest going to the Dell website, then navigate to the drivers and downloads section under Support. Enter your device's serial number (or search for the same model) and then opt to manually pick a driver. Then download the newest Realtek audio driver and perform a reinstall of the driver on the machine. The driver package will ask to remove the previous driver first and then perform the installation automatically after a reboot, so reboot the machine when prompted to do so and log back in.

Make sure that it is the Realtek High Definition Audio driver, there is an USB driver as well, but that is meant for docking stations.

It appears that the Windows updates sometimes mess up the audio driver configuration and then stuff like this happen. Reinstalling the audio driver has worked for me in these cases.
