Mine failed first time. Rebooted. Worked 2nd time but so annoying to have to navigate the setup for the "first time" nonsense and trying to sell me 365 subscriptions etc when logging in this morning.

I'm running unsupported with no TPM module and unsupported Dual Xeon E5-2680v2 processors.

Thanks, all previous updates installed without any issues....will keep trying.

Check your logs for errors. I had an issue when upgrading from 22H2 to 24H2 with a corrupted display driver and then a storage driver. Google verifier (driver verifier) and also check if memory integrity is enabled or not.

Thanks, tried it but did not work for me I even tried an in-place-update (Windows ISO) also failed, next step clean install.

Try Chris Titus Winutil https://github.com/ChrisTitusTech/winutil. Disable and then reenable updates from there.

No didn't, I opted for a clean install which worked.

Best to do so anyway from time to time. My pc is being retired so will be doing a fresh install myself but with the windows arm version on Mac. Visual studio and a couple other things is all that’s needed for me.

Seems like I am not the only one.

Same here, it got stuck on updating after restarting so I eventually had to turn the computer off.
I wonder why this particular update is so problematic?
