Think I'll be going for the home premium edition.

Running Windows 7 Ultimate on an 'ancient' 2.0 Ghz Celeron Desktop (1GB Ram) that I still have lying around and it has fairly rejuvenated the machine.
Admittedly it does have an also 'old' MSI Fx5500 256 MB AGP graphics card.
But the performance is simply astounding.

Microsoft have a winner here.
