Windows 7 bass & trebble control for Logitech headset?

It would normally come from the logitech program?

Not seen trebble and bass in windows 7, my headset has it own program for that.

click start and then choose control panel
type audio into the search box at the top right
then click manage audio devices under the sound category
select the device in the list for your headphones "2-Logitech USB headset"
right click on it to choose properties
click on the enhancements tab
make sure Bass Boost is unchecked.

Done that already.

I find it hard to believe there are no bass/treble controls or software.

Strange ponder as their are no bass and treble settings in windows 7 as far as i know.

It came with no cd? Very strange indeed.

Nope, I still have the packaging lying hear on my desk and it was heat sealed.
When I cut the plastic open I was also wondering about a CD but they just worked when plugged in. I even checked the logitech site and could find nothing.
R400 for headphones and I cannot adjust bass & treble is BS

mine also never came with a CD... but the sound is fine with mine in Windows 7.

It might be fine but people should have the option to adjust settings. Reminds me of Linus Torvalds rant at Gnome.

Problem is it may sound fine to one person but to another person it is not.

Obviously logitech don't care about giving people choice with it. Where did you buy it from?

On 7 I use normal headphones plugged into the headphone jack of my soundcard and in 7 there are no equalizer settings but enhancement settings like bass boost etc, same with Vista.
