Windows 7 Beta 1 - Download here

I need some help here, I've downloaded it twice but the download won't finish. Gets to 99% and then nothing !!!!!. Tried the first time with Free Download Manager and then with DownThemAll, and I got the same problem.
 
You downloading it with your local bw? Maybe stop the download, connect with an account that has international bw and start the download again? Only the last 1% should download and that would be about 30mb max.
 
I'm using Neotel Unlimited, so not using local cap. I tried stopping and restarting the download numerous times with both downloaders, and nothing happens. It does not connect, just sits there doing nothing. This is wierd.

OK, I think our driver is going through to Pretoria tomorrow. I will ask him if he can swing by Sunninghill. PM me a drop off address... preferably close to an exit on the highway.
 
I send you and PM thanks a lot. Can't understand why this is happening, download manager says 2.44GB of 2.44GB finished, it just won't complete.

Were anybody able to figure what the problem with the bad HDD ratings is?

Processor: Phenom x4 9550 = 6.9
RAM: 6GB DDR2 800Mhz = 7.2
Graphics: Onboard NVidia = 3.7
Gaming Graphics: = 5.1
HDD: 160GB Seagate using a 80 Partition = 3.0

Supposedly bad SATA drivers :)
 
CPU: 6.2
RAM: 5.5
GPU: 5.9
GAM: 5.3
HDD: 5.9 - 1tb seagate sataIIplus enterprise edition
 
My original post:

To increase your Windows 7 Beta HDD WEI score (in many systems):

1. Control panel>hardware & sound>device manager
2. Under disk drives, find your main drive
3. Right click your main drive and select properties
4. Policies tab, uncheck the "enable write caching on this device"
5. Click ok, and re-run your WEI

Mine was on 3.0, and now on 6.0
 
Processor: 6.0
Memory (RAM): 5.5
Graphics: 7.9
Gaming graphics: 5.8
Primary hard disk: 5.9 (1x SATA 320GB)

Base score: 5.5

GF & I were guessing, 3.9 or 5... she won, she said 5. HAHA :D
