EDIT AGAIN: Ok, seems that error is only with google chrome, downloading now, but its gonna take a while lol, 384k line

I've downloaded it but I can't make a clean burn....Imgburn verifier always gives me errors. i'm thinking to take it to a friend to do it for me. I don't want to risk a corrupted install again.

Burn it at the lowest possible speed your writer can and don't use cheap media.
 
I have downloaded 64 bit one :). How can I convert fat32 to ntfs without losing my files?

Start
Run
CMD < enter

type convert c: /fs:NTFS (enter)
((c: <- or what ever the drive letter is))


It's build into windows I have found this to be the safest option
1) It will ask you for the volume label of the drive
2) It will want to unmount the drive, if it's the OS drive or can't unmount drive it will want to run at next boot.


You don't need any extra software loaded and I have used this plenty times at work and have not lost any data yet. It does a scandisk before converting and should tell you if it can't convert.

Finally loaded up Windows 7 and it's very fast for a beta, as everyone has rightly said.

BUT, seeing as I'm running an old(ish) system, I can't find drivers for my onboard ethernet. :(

I have an MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum motherboard...NForce 3 chipset and I can't find 64 bit drivers anywhere. So basically, I have no internet access in Windows 7.

My Gigabit LAN port was fried by lightning and the other port is the NForce one. :(

Yeah, would be around R160 for a Gigabit network card, around R70 for a non-Gigabit.

Great news WRT the PM. ;)
 
Nvidia are a bunch of dipsh|ts, why the hell don't they write updated drivers for the NForce 3 chipset.

If ANYONE knows of something I can use to get my Nforce LAN port to work on Windows 7 64-bit please post it in here.
