Dude i got the exact same Hdd as you too ( two weeks ago lol ) and i see there is a tiny jumper pin that i pulled out that takes the 1.5Gbps limit off to 3 gbps:)

installed extra 2x1gb corsair xms 8500C5D ram, total on 6.00Gb
removed the little jumper with a "moerse gesukkel"

restarted pc, ran tests again, got the following:

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9300 @ 2.50GHz 7.2
Memory (RAM) 6.00 GB 7.2
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280 7.9
Gaming graphics 3070 MB Total available graphics memory 6.0
Primary hard disk 436GB Free (466GB Total) 3.0
Windows 7 Ultimate

Mine doesn't register as faster apart from the burst rate.
 
Well I got the disk completely wrong, not sure how that happened.

It's actually a Hitachi 400GB (HDS724040KLSA80)

I hate the taskbar.

Nero 7 express burning DVDs as CDFS filesystem!
 
Meh, looks like I'm gonna have to do a PC overhaul at somepoint for this.... and go i7... didn't want to spend the money on it yet....

I have the 64bit but I got a question. Is there a specific way/method I need to write an iso or can I just write the dvd like any normal dvd?
 
Just like a normal dvd. In Nero you will choose "disk image or saved project" or something like that.

Just use Imgburn (freeware), write image from file to disc and wham bam it's done, I heard it's best to do it at the slowest speed possible, makes sense to me.

Use Isoburn and burn it at a slow speed. Nero will also do fine, no special/specific way really.
