I seriously doubt Microsoft mind if home users are pirating Windows 7. They make all their serious money off of OEM deals and site licenses issued to companies.
They'd rather have people using illegal versions of Windows than not using Windows at all.

The government has a higher responsibility towards us.
It is a caretaker of our welfare.
It has to maintain the environment where we can all live healthy, prosperous lives free from persecution and fear.
Where we can improve ourselves.
Irrespective of the citizenry the government has responsibilities.
"There's no way to rule innocent men.
The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals.
Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them.
One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible to live without breaking laws."

Ja, I've been seeing this all over the P2P sites. Not gonna get that. I'm gonna get me a legal version.

Yep, gonna try the 'patch' in a vm this weekend. Sooner or later MS will release their patch to disable it like they did with Vista initally. Then we wait for a better one![]()
There was already a reply to the whole Lenovo OEM issue, so yeah it wont work unless skipping updates is your thing.
Agree.
With what I'm hearing its worth it to go legal. Look at XP, gave us many years of good value.
If you don't want to pay then go the free OS route - LINUX / BSD.![]()

No excuse to pirate.
