Windows 7 hanging after updates

My Windows 7 had an update today and now seems to hang all the time. The hdd seems to be going mad. Anybody experiencing similar problems ?

Haven't had that problem on Win 7 x64. Try doing a system restore before the updates, then install each update individually to see which one of the recent updates causes the problem.
