Pay a visit to www.winehq.org.
And it does, in fact, support dx10.

80%+ of your servers will be Linux. Linux rules the drones :>

Windows has the compatibility with those software vendors due to their siff anti-competitive behaviour. IE, they`ll go to someone and say, "dont port this to linux or we wont let you suck our ****`s".

The greed of microsoft is causing the compatibility issues.

Unfortunatly I cant copy and paste because I'm not near a computer. But a quick google search for wine directx 10 reveals all.

I didnt say you should. And I wouldnt either. But the fact is that it does have Directx 10 support.

Dude you have stated yourself that you don't use Linux, so clearly you are not really an authority on the whole "gaming on Linux" thing...

The fact is gaming is indeed possible on Linux with minimal loss of quality, however it is a bit more difficult to get going on Linux than on Windows.

Oh, I didnt read it properly. My bad. So then wine doesnt support dx10. But it will come. Still wouldnt use it though.

ok fine linux can run games

lets end this now cause its like a ping pong match :)
