Windows 8 apps across multiple pcs

I'm needing some clarification how windows 8 apps work across multiple pcs.
I do get it that I need a separate windows 8 license per pc - not nice but I get it.
However, do I have to buy the same app for each pc or can the app run across all my pcs?
I think what I'm asking is this: even though I have multiple licences can each pc run off the same windows account?

Depends on the App/Dev.

For example, our App's on the market are bound to you live account so you can install it on any PC that use said live account to log in. We can also sign it for corporate use but that is another story all together.

Thanks. I think this answers my main question. Just to clarify: Does this mean I can use my live account on more than one pc, or is my live account bound to one pc?

Your Live account can be used on all your PC's. Hell you can even use it to log into a friends PC granted he has internet access, and have access to your apps. Note when he does log back in your apps will no longer show up.
