Getting fairly frequent audio glitches lately. Almost like a fraction of a second freeze. bzzz for lack of better description :D

Event log seems fine.

I don't think it's the audio driver either since HDMI output seems to do the same thing :wtf:

Any ideas on where to start troubleshooting that?

Like a micro stutter?

I assumed this was a Bluetooth issue at first then switch to Spotify from iTunes to compare and it doesn’t happen there.

But it could be the free Spotify at lower bitrate maybe.

On iPhone directly I don’t have it so still makes Windows the primary culprit.

And people wonder why I despise Windows so much. It’s exactly this type of ***.

No Bluetooth.

Both the wired headset and HDMI out to TV are doing it.

Ran a memtest but that seems fine too. Maybe need to run it overnight

I have a discrete sound card, and every year it does that, simply time to clean out the case then everything works again.

Was this before or after the recent update? Assuming you run win10.
Not sure tbh. It sorta crept up on me & wasn't paying attention to when it started

But yeah could be. Gonna format the PC & see if that helps

I had hassles after a Windoze update before I got the latest drivers from my manufacturer. The version was the same as what I had had prior to Windows Update which apparently broke it.

hmm...seems to have decided to download Spring Creators Update in the last couple mins...maybe that'll help
